Maureen Gubia sent me this painting of myself. It’s really beautiful and it makes me feel good about myself… and about having friends like her that are so magical and amazing and inspire me with that, even if i’ve never been physically with them.
She bought one of the Fur Fog books, and I can’t but think that it all —-connects—-: Fur Fog is a project I made with my friend Ginette (who is also far from me). It is a project dear to me, and of which I am also proud (it is so nice!) and I can’t but smile and feel even happier about it, knowing that all the people who have got one so far, are people who are also inspiring creative friends.
I mean, I would feel good if anyone got it, but it is a sweet coincidence that something so special is being kept by people who are special to me
